PATRICK SWAYZE HAS LOST HIS BATTLE TO CANCER

Debonaire actor, Patrick Swayze who wowed movie goers around the world with such films as Dirty Dancing, Ghost and To Wong Foo, lost his battle to pancreatic cancer on Monday, September 14, according to his publist Annett Wolf. Swayze was 57. Swayze was diagnosed sometime around March 2008. Labelled in 1991 by People Magazine as the "Sexiest Man Alive," the actor died peacefully surrounded by his family. After his diagnoses, Swayze continued to work, filiming The Beast. Earlier this year, in an interview with Barbara Walters, when asked why he made the decision to continue to shoot The Beast, Swayze said,"If I leave this Earth, I want to leave this Earth just knowing I've tried to give something back and tried to do something worthwhile with myself, and that keeps me going, that gets me up in the morning. My work ... is my legacy."
Patrick was a champion, having bravely battled the challenges of the disease for 20 months.

OBAMA PUT KANYE ON BLAST!

Even President Obama has had enough of Kanye's clowning.  President of the free world, Barak Obama took a minute from pushing his Healthcare Reform Bill to call Kanye West a ‘jackass’ for his eccentric behavior at the MTV Video Music Awards. While giving her acceptance shout out, Kanye leapt on stage, and in a non-gentlemanly fashion seized the microphone from teen pop idol Taylor Swift, halting her speech, complaining that Beyonce should have been the winner of the Best Female Video Award category. Recently, The President himself became a victim of heckling when South Carolina Republican Representative Joe Wilson yelled “you lie” during Obama's health care speech to a joint session of Congress last week.
The off the record remark made by President Obama, during an interview, was accidentally dispatched by ABC News online twittering service. Even though Terry Moran hastily took action to erase the statement, the comment was still accessible. A statement of apology issued by the news giant, ABC, said that Moran “prematurely tweeted ... before our editorial process had been completed. That was wrong. We apologize to the White House and CNBC and are taking steps to ensure that it will not happen again.” Even though Kanye West has apologized a number of times, he is still being criticized. The White House has so far, not commented on the journalistic screw up.

WHAT'S KANYE'S PROBLEM NOW?

The Video Music Awards hadn’t even begun properly yet before Kanye West proved that he is one unpredictable hothead. Beyonce’s 'Single Lady' took a backseat to Taylor Swift's 'You Belong With Me,' in the Best Female Video Award and apparently Taylor's win and Beyonce's lost, rubbed Kanye the wrong way. While giving her acceptance shouts out, Kanye leapt on stage, and in a non-gentlemanly fashion seized the microphone from teen pop idol Taylor Swift, halting her speech, complaining that Beyonce should have been the winner of the Best Female Video Award category. For a while, it seemed everyone thought Kanye’s totally inappropriate outburst was a practical joke, but it wasn’t and apparently, after quickly rebounding from what wasn't a jest, no one including the audience, Beyonce or the VMA powers that be, thought it was amusing. Later in the star-studded evening, while giving her acceptance speech for Best Female Video of the Year, Beyonce in true lady-like conduct gave the microphone to Taylor Swift, welcoming her to complete her recognition speech that Kanye had so discourteously interrupted earlier.
Seemingly phased by the boos and chants, Kanye later blogged, "I'M SOOOOO SORRY TO TAYLOR SWIFT AND HER FANS AND HER MOM. I SPOKE TO HER MOTHER RIGHT AFTER AND SHE SAID THE SAME THING MY MOTHER WOULD'VE SAID. SHE IS VERY TALENTED!" Too little too late, apparently, because according to sources the officials at the VMA’s might not be welcoming his Kanye back.

DR MURRAY DEFENDS HIMSELF IN YOUTUBE VIDEO

The notorious Dr. Murray, the doctor police are investigating in connection to the death of pop singer Michael Jackson, has spoken up. However, he didn't go on any national media outlets to do it. Where and how did he decide to speak-up? On YouTube.
A somber, docile, powered-face, Dr. Conrad Murray, expressed gratitude his patients and supporters for standing behind him and promising them that because he told the truth, that he believed he would ultimately be vindicated. Until today, and since Jackson's June 25th death, Dr. Murray had been silent and apparently in seclusion. Reports say that he has employed a body guard to rebuff the many death threats he has received after Jackson's death. Murray says that he taped the YouTube video in reaction to the phone and email messages he had been receiving. According to Murray, "I recorded this video to let all of you know that I have been receiving your messages ... Your messages give me strength and courage and keep me going. They mean the world to me."
Some people believe that Dr. Murray did not appear sincere but instead was on a mission to try to improve his image, since he has unquestionably been demonized. Others conceive that he was sincere, and that he has every right to let the public, or if charges are brought against him - his potential jury pool, know of his sincerity.
Whatever the case may be, Dr. Conrad Murray has a lot of clarifying to do. For starters, he needs to explain why he took so long to call the paramedics. In addition, he needs to also explain why he felt the need to give Michael Jackson a drug used by hospitals to aid in surgery. Of course, in the depth of his sorrow, he has neglected to address any of this and notice that he decided to express himself on YouTube, a forum where he is neither subjected to questioning nor where he could observe his listener's disbelief.
